Freaking awesomeness!

Without further ado,

WE ARE BUYING OUR FIRST HOUSE!!!!

I can't believe I'm writing that! I don't think it's hit me quite yet. The inspection happens next Monday, and we are most likely going to close by the end of October. What a whirlwind.

We truly are so excited and so grateful to have found this place. Homeownership has been something we've set as a goal together, and we're just around the corner to achieving that. We have imagined ourselves living in every room. I've pictured what our bedroom will look like. I've mentally hung art on the walls.

We get three bedrooms, one full bath and one half bath, hardwood floors throughout, a wood-burning fireplace (BONUS!!!), a one-car garage, absolutely lovely landscaping, a full basement (whew! now I have someplace to hide in a tornado!).... ohhh so many things. I can't wait for you to see it. I will be taking the camera with me to the inspection on Monday so I can get some pictures ready. But for now, I'll leave you with this shot from the listing.
