I alluded to this in an earlier post. Jonathan and I spent the night of our anniversary on a date to celebrate. One of our fabulous wedding guests last year gave us a gift card to Hyde Park, so we decided to use it on our anniversary. We went to Hyde Park on the Cap and were seated at a table by a window and next to a couple of ladies out having a night. We ordered a bottle of Cline Old Vine Zin (a winery we went to on our California trip, remember?) and our server came by and dressed up our table by sprinkling rose petals and lighting a candle.

Jonathan had the Steak ... uh... someone. (All of their steaks are named after local athletic celebrities... we giggled at the Steak Tressel a little bit...). I ordered the Lane's Snapper with the Lemon Crystal sauce, which was freaking phenom. We ordered a baked potato to share as well.

Sunday, our actual anniversary date, we had some of our nearest and dearest over to celebrate a zillion different things. It was the first time we'd really partied much on our patio, at least with more than one person, and we had a great time. Jonathan created some fantastic burgers, and we had salad, sweet corn, chips and salsa/queso, wine, beer, and then cut into a cake!! We celebrated Jamie and Amanda's birthdays, our anniversary, and Nikki hitting the 23 week mark into her pregancy!! There was such a ton to be thankful for. I was so grateful to have friends around us that day.
