This is Jamie holding up a giant pinecone. Not from the Giant Sequoia, but from some dinky little pine tree.
This is Matt, Jamie, and Jonathan trying not to ice skate down the stairs of what used to be a dance floor made from the stump of a 2500 year old Giant Sequoia.
This is Jonathan and I standing in the surprisingly short root structure of the big trees.

And the four of us at the end of our hike. It was cold, but not unbearable. I think we experienced all four seasons while we were out there!
Gorgeous tulips at the Ironstone Vineyard, the one place from which we didn't actually purchase any wine.
This is the door to nowhere in the house that was built nonstop by Sarah Winchester in San Jose, CA.
This is Jonathan and I along the tour of the house. I wish I had an aerial view of this place. I was totally lost!
After this, we all went to a restaurant for some yummy seafood and drinks (I overindulged here...) and then we went to the Cheesecake factory for some dessert to bring back to our hotel.
All in all? Best vacation yet. :) Next up... honeymoon planning!!!
