Restaurant Review!

Last Friday the girls and I decided to head out and try a new restaurant (it's not new to C-Bus, it's just new to us) called Lemongrass. I have a friend who is a server there, and he took care of our table. It was delicious! I loved the ambiance. Sort of "backyard patio meets the Far East". Anyway, I started out with a yummy California Roll appetizer on the recommendation of Dustin, our server, who swears that Lemongrass has the best sushi in the city. It was quite tasty, but I'm on the fence as to whether I agree with him on it being the "best in the city". I did love the presentation.

I followed that with the restaurant's Pad Thai with Shrimp. The joint sort of specialized in Thai food from what the menu looked like, so I went with a staple. I thoroughly enjoyed the flavors. It had more of a bite to it than other local Thai places, and it met my expectations.

After a very fun 'French Martini' (mixed with the delights of raspberry vodka, chambord, and champagne), I had a wee dessert. Unfortunately I can't remember the name of it, but it was good. Not nearly as good as a similar bite from one of my favorite places in Columbus, Spagio, but still good. It was a chocolate mousse and cake with raspberry puree.

I'm looking forward to another visit in the future. :) The girls and I had a great time.
