Today, officially, we have three months until the wedding. I am getting sooooo excited. Three months! We've almost been engaged for a year, and I can't believe how fast the time has gone. So, since it's crunch time, I've been trying to figure out small details like, shoes (see previous post), undergarments, and of course, hair. I have to figure out a hair style.
*Achem. Fiance. If you are reading this and would not like to be spoiled... You should probably stop*
So, some things that I have purchased already include (duh) my dress, a pair of gloves, and a pair of stockings. I won't say what kind, just in case there is a chance that you are still reading, Jonathan, but i have stockings to go beneath the gown. I still need to purchase a foundation garment (read: a sucker-inner), shoes, and get started on the veil. My amazingly talented mother is going to make the veil, so she has asked me to get started on deciding how I will wear my hair, as that will sort of determine the placement of the veil on the wedding day. If you haven't figured it out already from previous posting, the "look" I'm going for is rather a vintage aesthetic. I'm drawn to anything art deco, shoes from the 50s, luxurious fabrics, poofy skirts, and ladylike accesories like hats and gloves. My style icons?
Anne Hathaway... and Katherine Heigl...
So, I'm looking for a look that will be elegant, flattering, and with a sort of vintage/"old hollywood" aesthetic. Some of the styles I've found are below. I am really drawn to Scarlet Johanssen's look, but am not sure what the back would look like. Take a look at the photos below... and let me know what you think!
so whaddya think??

Wow, Katherine Heigl is a FOX in that picture. Anyway, I really like the hair of the girl wearing the yellow button up sweater.
I also like something like this:

but maybe less 'bun' looking and more rough curls type thing??
I agree with Jamie, I like that for an "up-do", but I also like the pic right below Scarlet. Down but soft curls are very romantic and classic. Good Luck!
Jamie - the link isn't working for me for some reason... :(
