Accessorizing!

Well, the nightmares are starting to get a little more frequent, and they're starting to get pretty intense. I had one last night where WE FORGOT TO BUY OUR WEDDING RINGS. And, I FORGOT TO GET GIFTS FOR MY BRIDESMAIDS. And, JONATHAN DIDN'T HAVE A TUX. I think there were some other weird "oops" moments, but nothing as huge as those!

But anyway, I wanted to talk more about fun stuff. Like SHOES. omg. I need a good pair to wear beneath the dress of course! And for dancing! Dilemmas I face include a.) finding a style that's sort of vintage/retro looking; b.) finding a style that will fit my wide, but small, feet; c.) finding a heel height that I will be able to walk down the aisle in successfully (not fall down the aisle, eh?). Secondary factors I'm volleying between are color (blue or white?); shape (peep-toe, closed toe); and embellishment (already embellished, or leave them be?). So, here are a few that have caught my eye thus far.

First, the Grazia "Sophie". I really liked this style when I tried it on. It was comfortable around the ball of my foot, and I didn't feel like I'd step out of them. I think the ribbon detail is very cute.

Next on my list is the Grazia "Valentine". I picked this one up because of the adorable embellishment on the toe. Freaking gorgeous, and so hollywood/glam. And, like the other Grazia style they were equally comfortable and accomodating to my wide foot.

Moving in a different direction, I found the Cole Haan Ceci "Air" pump.

This puppy, not kidding, is made with honest-to-god Nike Air technology, so it supposedly gives you the comfort of a sneaker. I take that with a grain of salt, but hey - at least they're TRYING to make women's heels comfortable. I like this style because it's simple - I can embellish it myself if I feel the need. AND, the same thing comes in a peep toe!!

Viva la peep-toe!

Of course, knowing me, I'd need to embellish them - something like a shoe clip, from a vintage store would be fabulous - Like this maybe?

Now, if I could do a blue shoe, I'd want to do one that had a little bit of style to it, but then again - I could also just get one of those super cute white ones and dye it, right? Check these cutie patooties out from Office. I love them, but I think they're just a little bit too light. :(
Le sigh... If only they were navy...

Also, how fun would these be??
They'd also be perfect if they were blue. I think the red is stunning, but I'd much rather wear blue - my bridesmaids would look darling in red though; I think it would totally complement their dresses!!

And finally, my dream shoe. Would that I could even REMOTELY afford this lovely. I wants it. ohhhh, I wants it... the preeeeeeciousssssss....
How perfectly art deco, and perfectly lovely. Also, perfectly A GALAXY OUT OF MY BUDGET. Sad kitty.

CUTE!! I love the blue shoes from the office. You should make an exception on color for those shoes!!! :) Sorry about the night mares. Soon enough they will be gone and you will have nothing but the gorgeous memories of your special day!!
