Ainsley

She is wonderful. She is 2 and a half weeks old now, 7 lb and 11 oz, and 20 inches long since being born. I was there when she was welcomed by a huge family - I wonder what it's like to go from a warm, soothing 98 degree womb to HOLY SHIT ITS ONLY 70 DEGREES IN HERE!!! She's so vocal, always letting her mom and dad know when she's ready for a clean diaper, a second serving of boobie a la carte, or if she's just in need of some love. I'm incredibly enamored of her, and totally enthralled by the fact that my sister is a mommy. And Christine is going through a lot emotionally... but she's going to handle it like the strong woman she is. Here are some pictures of my sweet niece.
